Paris has a way of making even the simplest moments feel like a movie scene. On my last trip, I gave myself permission to skip the packed itinerary and just wander.

I started each morning with a croissant and a strong coffee at a tiny corner cafe, then let myself get lost in the side streets of Le Marais, popping into vintage shops along the way.

By evening, I always found myself back at the Seine, watching the light turn gold over the water. If you only have a weekend, that golden hour walk is non-negotiable.
